I fasten my seatbelt,
and look down,
we haven't started yet.
I think about my life.
I am 50 years old
and it's alright
if I die.
I am not afraid
of dying anymore.
I would love to live
50 years more if I could
but
if I die, I die,
then I guess
my time has come.
I think about my husband.
I hope that
if he survives
that he would live a life
that makes him happy
and I hope
that my books and yarns
would find
new loving homes.
And the plane
starts to move
and I close my eyes.
