Is it to be accepted

admire and love?
Is it to have the knowledge
that you are a part
of something bigger
something that gives
you a feeling of belonging?
Is it the steps
you've taken
to your goal?
Is it the feeling
of making a difference
in the world?
or...
Is it the forgiveness
you feel for
your and others'
failures
and shortcomings?
or...
is it a quiet hand
that calms your
thoughts
and gives you
serenity?
