My writings: Poetry: ... some lovers collect memories

... some lovers collect memories
of their love affairs
... some killers, take things
from their victims
I buy catalogs from the museums
I visit.

We do it to remember,
to recollect a moment
that is gone,
to reshape it,
and make it
more real,
than the lived moment
we once experienced.

Our memories are not
memories of the moments.

Our memories are new experiences,
that we get through the things
we collect and apply to
moments, that since long
have been forgotten.
