In between today
and tomorrow
there is a space
marked with a red pen
- for the future -

until then I will listen
to the silent voice
that whispers
a song
of remembrance
of forgiveness

until then I will
let the past
lie down in the past
with the sorrows
in the past

until then I will
take your hand
and place it in mine
as a token of forgiveness
as a token of love.
